This is a introductory report. I will first introduce classical isoperimetric inequalities and give a analysis and PDE’s proof based on ABP method. Then I will introduce the sharp Moser-Onifri inequality on the sphere and present Onifri’s proof based on conformal map. Furthermore, I will also present some simple application of Onifri inequality in prescribing Gauss curvature problem and mean field equation. Finally, I will discuss my recent work on existence of extremals and concentration-compactness limit for Moser-Onifri inequality.

陈露,北京理工大学特聘副研究员,研究方向为多参数调和分析, 分数次方程和几何不等式. 主持和参与国家自然科学基金项目多项。近几年,在Moser-Trudinger 不等式和高阶C-K-N不等式的极值函数问题,以及相关偏微分方程理论研究中做出了重要贡献,主要工作发表在 Advances in mathematics,Transaction of the AMS, J. Funct. Anal., Rev. Mat. Iberoam, Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations, Pacific J. Math 等国际著名数学期刊。
