报告题目:Regularity theory of even order Riviere type systems
报告摘要:To study regularity theory of critical points to conformally invariant variational problems arised in geometry, such as harmonic mappings, minimal surfaces, prescribed mean curvature equations, the French mathematician Tristan Riviere formulated a second order elliptic system with antisymmetric potential and developed a conservation law method. I will discuss in this talk some developments and applications of Riviere’s theory in recent years, and give some open problems.

专家简介:向长林,三峡大学数学研究中心研究员。当前研究兴趣为椭圆型偏微分方程(组)正则性理论及其在几何中的应用,尤其是某些具有共形不变性的几何问题,研究主要成果发表在 Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Calc.Var. Partial Differential Equations, Int.Math. Res. Not.,J.Differential Equations, J. Lond. Math. Soc.等国际知名数学期刊上。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目一项。
